Frequently Asked Questions

Getting started:

  • First things first to become a client of The Happy Loft you must create an account via our website or on The Happy Loft App. This is where you will purchase your sessions and manage your bookings. If you have any troubles please feel free to email us at: : hello@thehappyloft.com.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes early to your first session so your trainer can run through a few things to make your first session as smooth as possible and ensure you get the most out of your session.

How can I cancel my booking?

  • If you are unable to attend one of your classes you are able to cancel through The Happy Loft App booking system. This can be done in the ‘bookings’ section.

Late cancellation and no-show fees:

  • Sessions cancelled within 9 hours of the class beginning is considered a ‘late cancel’ and will result in a loss of your session credit A no-show will also incur the loss of your sessions credit.

Waitlists:

  • If the class you wish to attend is fully booked we offer a waitlist system. An automated e-mail and/or SMS will notify you if a space becomes available. 

  • The waitlist system is like a normal booking - If you are added into class from a waitlist within 9 hours of your class beginning, you will be held to the same rules as a normal booking.

Are classes ever cancelled?

  • A minimum of 2 people is required to run a class. Classes can be cancelled up to 3 hours prior to your class. Your trainer will notify you via email or text should if this situation ever arises.

Do I need to bring anything with me to class?

  • Please wear comfortable active wear that will enable you to move freely. Leggings are highly recommended.

  • We provide complimentary sweat towels and have chilled water available for you to fill your water bottles.

 

PREGNANCY GUIDELINES

  • We can cater to pre-existing clients up until 28 weeks and new clients up to 16 weeks pregnant in group classes. It is so important to keep the body moving in a low impact and safe way. If you are pregnant, we ask you to disclose to your instructor so we can make the necessary modifications. 

  • Once you have reached the end of your 1st trimester (13 weeks) we require a Medical Certificate to continue.

POSTNATAL GUIDELINES

  • We ask that you wait until after you receive the all clear from your 6 week GP/Obstetrician check up to make sure that everything is healing well and there are no diastasis recti (abdominal separation) issues.

Other things to note:

  • We have a no children policy in the studio for safety reasons and to ensure no distractions for the trainers and other clients.

  • There is a bathroom/change room available in the studio.
